Uniform
The full College Uniform is compulsory for all students from Prep to Year 12 (and parents of our Kindergarten students may purchase an Annandale T-shirt to identify with the school community).
Our uniform has been designed to be practical, ‘Sun Smart’, comfortable, durable, readily obtainable, affordable, value for money, neat and attractive. The current design has been endorsed by parents, teachers and students and the College views parent support of the uniform standard as a requirement for continuing enrolment.
Please Note: As part of our Sun Smart Policy, all members of the College community (and particularly staff and students) wear hats anytime they are not inside a classroom.
We believe the wearing of the College uniform:
· expresses a common identity, helping students to feel part of a body, in this case, the community of the College
· is a practical solution to the issue of dress for students, allowing families to use their resources wisely and minimising unhelpful distinctions between students
· frees students from unnecessary distractions
· ensures students are dressed neatly and modestly.
Our Uniform Shop is operated by a wonderful volunteer parent coordinator with help from other volunteers during heavy access periods. Located on site, the shop carries all new Uniform requirements (with the exception of shoes and socks) and also holds a range of pre-owned items.
Uniform Shop Hours during school term
Tuesdays: 8.15am - 8.45am and 2.45pm - 3.15pm
Thursdays: 2.45pm - 3.15pm
